Coby Snapp Camera Review
Positive: Easy to use. Microphone is decent. Very inexpensive.
Negative: Not HD. Loud popping noise when you first start talking.
Bottom Line: A great camera to buy that is inexpensive and decent quality.
Price: $49.99 U.S
Full Review: I really like this camera. It is a fixed focus camera, so it is not ideal for close up shots. The video quality is VGA and the camera quality is 1.3 megapixels. It uses two AA batteries. The door to access the battery compartment is a pain to open, but it can be done. There is a little flap over the usb connector. The microphone on it is the best part. However it does have a loud popping noise when you first start talking. The battery life is fairly decent. It will last quite awhile with light use. There is an LED light that glows red when recording video. There is no LED flash on the camera. The LCD screen can be flipped out so you can take videos of yourself. If not, then it will snap in place on the back. It is extremely easy to use. To get videos off, just plug it in. No software programs involved. Videos can be deleted easily by pressing the mode button and finding the video that needs to be deleted and pressing the garbage can button. This camera also has a 4x digital zoom which is nice. Video quality does degrade the more you zoom in however. The photo taking feature is not the greatest as it has just 1.3 megapixels, which is the same quality from an old flip phone camera. The camera shoots at 30 frames per second so there is no lag. This camera also has an SD card slot for more memory. So this camera is very good for the cost. It is great for anyone who does not want to spend the extra cash, but can stand the lower quality. Overall this camera gets four stars because of the popping sound and video quality.
